How it works
- Upload or paste an image.
- Edit the image to clean it and remove any scan artifacts or extraneous objects from the image. Make the text black on white background.
- Select an area for a word. Ensure the word is uncut and lacks kashida (elongation) for optimal recognition.
- Although the program attempts to adjust image, manually correcting the rotation and contrast will yield better results.
- Due to hosting restrictions, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is unavailable. Please manually enter the exact word from the selected area into the input text field.
- Click the "Upload" button to proceed.
This app is based on image comparison, and uses a limited amount of fonts, so it can't find the right font sometimes, but if you notice a missing font, please let us know so we can add it.
